Overview
The list below details Accessibility Features in the Equus Platform:
'Saved Successfully' Message Tag
A "message tag" appears whenever changes are made to a screen and saved. On saving, the message tag will appear as "Saved Successfully" in the top-right part of the screen, next to the Created By and Last Update By fields of the record.
Message Prompt for Record Deletion
A banner alert appears whenever a record is deleted in any screen. On deletion a message stating 'Record was deleted successfully' will be shown on the top part of the screen.
Message Prompt for Successful Sign Out & Session Timeout
A modal appears whenever a user signs out of the system, or if they experience a session timeout. On signing out, the user will be redirected to the login page, and the message "You have successfully signed out." will be shown on the screen.
When a user experiences a session timeout, they will be redirected to the login page, and the message "You were logged out due to Session timeout." will be shown on the screen.
Support for Screen Readers & Keyboard Only Functions
The Equus Platform supports screen reading technologies and keyboard only functions.
Buttons/Links
Buttons will show a color contrast to show users which is selected when using keyboard commands. In the example below, the delete is a different shade of grey since it is selected:
Links are also underlined/outlined when selected:
Outline for Text & Check Boxes
If a text field is clicked on, its outline will be emphasized
When check boxes are hovered over or clicked on, a shadow is visible in the background of a the box
