Security Rights
In order to edit a Report Schedule, the user’s Role must have rights to the Report Schedules tab. Additionally, specific Screen Section Rights are required for editing schedules that use the Web Request Delivery Type and the File System Delivery Type.
For System and Company, these rights can be added to a role to be able to edit a schedule on the Role Configuration screen.
Other security rights, such as Data Sensitivity, are also applied when editing a schedule. All User Reports that a user has access to at a system level for report schedules will show in the drop down of reports available to add. At a company level, only reports for that company plus system-level reports will show based on security access (unless a user does not have rights due to Data Sensitivity).
Editing the Report Schedule
To edit a schedule, click the pencil icon. If the user does not have edit rights, the user can still view the schedule if the icon is present on the screen. Once in edit mode, the user can follow the same steps as creating a schedule to make changes and updates to a schedule before saving.
As previously mentioned, once changes have been made to a schedule, the next schedule execution will be based on the security rights of the User ID that last updated the schedule.
