How to associate a role or roles with a resource name

Under the 'Role Association' section on the Resource page, the resource name can be restricted to appear in the various resource drop down lists in the Equus Platform.

Note: If the record is saved with the value <**Please Select**> in the Company Association Default Rule field the resource will have access to all Roles by default.

Role Exception Section

Click on the Default Rule to select either: <Deny All Roles> or <Allow All Roles>. Next, add a new Role Exception row by clicking on

To add multiple rows, enter a value in the field next to the

button, then click

Depending on the Default Rule, specify whether you want to include or exclude a role by clicking on the downward facing arrow and selecting a value from the drop down list. Click on

save.png

to save the changes.

To restrict the resource name to various drop down lists, select <Deny All Roles> and specify the role in the role exception section. Click on

save.png

to finalize the changes.

The list of resource roles can be viewed and edited on the Resources Roles screen.
