When a secure IdP initiation or Single Sign On (SSO) link is built between a client's network and their external vendor, this link can be displayed to the Equus Platform users so that when the link is clicked, so long as there is a connection established between a client's site and the vendor's site, users can access the external site without having to supply their login credentials. Note: A connection is established when a user is authenticated when accessing the site for the first time or reauthenticated when their their login credentials have expired.

The SSO link to an external vendor site can appear to users in a number of ways.

Example 1 - Checklist Items Description

For more details on how to configure a checklist item click here. The link is added in the Description field using the Link button. It is possible to add multiple secure links to one Checklist Item description using the Link button.
