User Report can be run in a number of different formats:

HTML

Available from the HTML link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list.

This functionality opens the report in a new Window browser window. Report formatting is not included in the HTML report, however limited column data formatting is supported (formatting of date and currency type data is supported, but width, font, grouping and subtotaling are not). Print customizing is not supported by HTML.

PDF

Available from the User Report Name link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list. Report formatting and Print customizing are included in the PDF report.

Excel Data (.xls)

Available from the Excel Data (.xls) link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list. Report formatting and print customizing are not included in the Excel Data (.xls) report.

Excel (.xls)

If the system preference is switched to show this format, this format can be run from the Excel Data (.xls) link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list. This was previously know as Excel Formatting. Report formatting and print customizing are included in the Excel Formatted report.

Excel

Available from the Excel link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list. This is an Excel document with the .xlsx extension and the output is similar to Excel Formatted / Excel (.xls) format. Report formatting and print customizing are included in the Excel report.

CSV

Available when from the CSV link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list. Report formatting and print customizing are not included in the CSV report.

Flat File

Available when from the Export link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list if the User Report has an Export Type of <Flat File> on the Export tab. Report formatting and print customizing are not included in the Flat File report.

XSL Transform

Available when from the Export link on the Published User Report tab and from the User Report's Run Report drop down list if the User Report has an Export Type of <XSL Transform> on the Export tab. Report formatting and print customizing are not included in the XSL Transform file.

This functionality runs the report to XML and then transforms it via the entered XSL into a new Windows browser window. XSL is a technical tool for integrating systems.
