When the system preference RPEXCDTHTM is switched on, user/production reports that contain HTML formatting will generate a file with HTML format when the report is run using "Excel Data (.xls)" option

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When the system preference RPEXCDTHTM is switched on, user/production reports that contain HTML formatting will generate a file with HTML format when the report is run using "Excel Data (.xls)" option only.

This system preference is shipped as off ('No') by default. Contact your Equus Client Solutions Manager for details about power user mode.

To see the changes, refresh the screen and run the report as "Excel Data (.xls)".

When opening the document, the below file format mismatch message appears. Click

. The message appears because the system preference is set to generate an HTML document with an .xls extension.

Below is the output of the file with HTML format enabled.
