Key Features
Release 17.6 includes several enhancements that enable greater customization, flexibility, and increase performance of the Mobile Employee Experience and AssignmentPro for mobile employees, mobility professionals, and vendors.
Vendor Integration
The Equus Ecosystem is a powerful platform that connects service providers, partners and key stakeholders to provide clients one set of data, one set of documents, and one place to manage their entire global mobility program. Clients looking to integrate directly with the Equus Ecosystem will gain end-to-end visibility, streamlined processes and an improved employee experience by connecting directly with their extended global mobility value chain.
Several enhancements were made to vendor integration to give clients more control over the data they share with their vendors, as well as when that data is sent.
Mobile Employee Experience
The Mobile Employee Experience is a sleeker, more intuitive way for mobile employees to access the pertinent information related to their assignment on any device.
In addition to launching the Mobile Employee Experience application for iOS and Android, several minor improvements were made to the Mobile Employee Experience.
Other Features
Assignment Deletion Batch
Multiple assignments can now be deleted as part of a new batch process.
New Assignment Deletion Batch removes all data related to all assignments in the batch.
New Assignment Deletion Batch removes all data related to the employee if no assignments exist for that employee after assignment removal.
New āDelete After Dateā field on the Assignment Details page is available to label assignments ready for deletion.
Assignment Details
Previously, the International Assignment Details and Extensions sections were not displaying on the Assignment Details screen for international assignments when the browser language was set to Turkish. This has been corrected.
Authorizations
The new Authorization page now allows an Authorization Template ID to be specified in the page URL enabling widgets and links to take users directly to a new authorization with a specific template.
Compensation Worksheets
Added Compensation Data Repository Based Calculation - One Time Payment as a calculation type to the Compensation Worksheet Dictionary Line Item screen. Selecting this ensures that the line item paid out in its entire value (instead of being divided by the number of payroll periods). This allows users to pay employees sums that are normally paid out once per year such as annual bonuses.
Current and previous effective compensation worksheet index rates have been added to the Comp Worksheet Line Item Current and Previous Effective (view).
Cost Estimates
The following new reporting fields were added to the Tax Estimator Calculation Details (View) to allow for reporting on additional information from Cost Estimates:

Custom Fields
The Custom Fields screen now prevents the entry of duplicate lookup values for lookup custom fields and gives the user an error message upon trying to save duplicate entries.
Mobile Employee Experience
This release builds on functionality delivered in previous releases for the Mobile Employee Experience.
Launched the Mobile Employee Experience application for iOS and Android. The app provides instant access to the multiple vendors, documents, and deadlines mobile employees need for a successful relocation.
Improved performance and reliability when activating and deactivating the Mobile Employee Experience.
Added the ability to show Destination Appraisal Dates on the Whatās Happening Timeline. Now, employees will have visibility into these dates on their WHT if the dates are configured to show.
Previously, the āNewā badge did not show on the Earnings Statements card for new documents. This has been corrected.
Previously, immediately after uploading a Passport document, users did not have permissions to download and view it in the MEE without reopening the Passport screen. This has been fixed.
Corrected minor UI issues that appeared on Internet Explorer 11, mobile, and/or tablet devices.
Notes/Communications
A few adjustments were made to Note/Communication functionality:
In the previous release, users were unable to preview attachments on Note/Communication e-mails. This has been resolved.
Corrected the Date caption for Verbal and custom Note/Communication Types to be āVerbal / Other Dateā.
In the previous release, users were unable to view the āVerbal / Other Dateā field for custom Notes/Communications. This has been resolved.
Report Schedules
A couple of improvements have been made to the user report scheduling capabilities.
The Report Schedules configuration page has been enhanced to prevent page delays and system timeouts when creating new report schedules.
The Report Scheduler now supports a File System delivery option that places the generated report(s) on the server file system allowing access to reports via a SFTP connection. Access to this delivery option can be controlled separately from email report scheduling.
Security Updates
As a standard process, Equus fixes vulnerabilities found through testing and analysis. For this release, one enhancement has been made to address a finding.
Tax Details
Provided the ability to add custom fields to the following grids:
Tax Service Request Summary and Tax Details Summary (Tax Summary screen)
Briefing and Tax Return (Tax Details screen)
Final Grossup Summary (Tax Equalization screen)
This allows users to track their own information that is relevant to the Tax service.
Vendor Integration
This release continues to improve the Vendor Integration features that support the Ecosystem. The following enhancements were made:
Added support for sending ongoing changes to integrated vendors while mobility users work in services screens. Once configured, vendors will automatically receive only the data that is changed after a service order has been sent. Now, users donāt have to send an e-mail or call vendors when they make changes in AssignmentPro; the vendors will receive those changes immediately after the change is made!
Provided the ability to queue data that is sent to vendors while they are performing maintenance on their systems; this information will be sent when the vendorsā systems return online. Now, users can be certain that their vendors will receive the information they need to deliver the best service possible.
Added the ability to exchange Pre-Move Visit data with integrated vendors. Now, the data from this screen can be automatically sent to vendors and saved in their systems, giving vendors the ability to be immediately notified about the Service Order.
Added the ability to exchange Host Country Housing Rental data with integrated vendors. Now, vendors can request data from this screen and save it in their systems, as well as update this data.
Improvements were made to the Service Orderās Email and Data Feed Note/Communication statuses. When Data Feed or Email notes are sent to integration vendors but are not part of the automatic data delivery, the statuses will now properly show if an Email or Data Feed succeeds or fails.
What-If Cost Estimates
Added user reports that have any type of prompt to the Compensation/Custom Calculation (new) choice list. Previously, only user reports that had AssignmentID as a prompt would display. Now, What-If Cost Estimate users can access company-level data in WICE calculations. This change also affects Cost Estimates and Compensation Calculations.
Widgets/Dashboards
Updated existing widget Internal - User Report Type Link to add new links to run the user report.
New link added to allow a user to run the current user report in HTML
New link added to allow a user to run the current user report in Excel
An issue was previously introduced that allowed users to edit widgets on locked Equus-delivered dashboards. The issue has been corrected so that no elements can be changed on locked dashboards.
Quick Workflows
New trigger fields were added to Quick Workflows to notify the global mobility team when the assignee accesses the Employee portal and accepts/declines terms and conditions. The new triggers can be found if the user selects data source āEmployee User.ā
